Pairs in Paris
For 2015 summer, Pairs In Paris launches its first high-end leather unisex trainers collection.
A collaboration between Caroline, designer for several fashion houses in Paris, and educated by a handmade shoemaker and Antonin, a graphic designer, and great sneakers collector. Pairs In Paris is a subtil mix of know-how and street style.
The models combine current technicals components and precious materials, such as gilded in fine gold end-laces. All leathers are finely selected and leathery linings are ecological. The brand exclusively works with traditional know-how manufactures, in France and in Portugal.
Who are you?
I'm Caroline Robert, born in Paris in the fall 1981.
How did you start in fashion?
Since my 9 years old, I want to be a stylist, without knowing or understanding what it meant. I was interested in the potential of this form of language, It seemed that which allowed us to dress could bring freedom. I like to think that what dresses us is still very primitive.
How would you define your style?
Bring together the everyday and the exceptional, combine democratic and luxury, genres, to obtain a pure design, just and worked in details.
What inspires you?
To discover the power of the most simple things. Ennoble primitive materials, Mineral, vegetable, animal, with expertise and contemporary techniques.

Pairs in Paris is a philosophy, it's not just a seasonal brand. Sneakers are worked with dressed shoes codes. We mix technical fabrics to precious materials to combine comfort to high quality within a timeless design.
